<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A car crash involving two vehicles caused problems for the morning commute.

The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the outer Beltline between the New Bern Avenue exit and Brentwood Road exit. Traffic was backed up for miles.

One person was seriously hurt. That person's name and condition have not been released.

There is no word on the cause of the accident or any charges.

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton Middle School athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
