<b>ELM CITY, N.C.</b> — A woman is dead after being electrocuted at work.

The incident happened at Nexans Corporation, a wire-making business in Elm City.

Dianna Dirgvil, 37, was apparently testing wire when the accident happened Wednesday afternoon.   The Wilson County plant closed temporarily because of the accident.

The plant is closed until at least Monday.
