WILSON, N.C. — Wilson police are investigating allegations that a school employee had inappropriate contact with a student.
The accused Darden Middle School employee is no longer on the job, a school official said, but would not say if the employee resigned or was fired.
So far, no criminal charges have been filed.
Police said school administrators reported the student's claim.
