<b>CARY, N.C.</b> — A woman who fell from her car on Interstate 40 now faces charges.

Highway Patrol troopers said witnesses saw Catherine Crowder fell from her moving car on I-40 near the Durham Freeway merge on May 4.

Crowder, who is now recovering at home, is charged with reckless driving.

Investigators still do not know what caused the Cary woman to get out of her car, but they said Crowder told them she passed out.
