RALEIGH, N.C. — If Gov. Mike Easley approves, then people will no longer be able to hunt from the roadside in Vance County.
On Thursday, a bill to make it illegal to hunt on major roadways cleared the state Senate -- its final hurdle in the Legislature.
The law also makes it illegal to shoot across roads while on the hunt.
Violators could get a $250 fine.
