<b>ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C.</b> — Investigators are searching for the cause of an overnight fire that destroyed a Roanoke Rapids restaurant.

The blaze started around 2 a.m. in the kitchen of Grill Masters on East 10th Street, which is a residential area near the heart of the city's business district.

Firefighters battled the fire for most of the night.
