DURHAM, N.C. — A worker at an elementary school is under investigation after allegations that a student was disciplined with tape.
A parent claims an occupational therapist at Hope Valley Elementary School taped his 9-year-old son's mouth shut.
Wendell Tabb said that last week, the therapist asked Tabb's son to be quiet, then put masking tape over his mouth.
The therapist is a contract worker for the school system.
