FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two people are dead after an overnight vehicle collision in Fayetteville.
Police said around 1 a.m. a Ford Taurus, driven by 26-year-old Joseph Aaron Robinson, was headed southbound on McArthur Road near Mosswood Lane when it lost control. The car crossed the center line, hitting a northbound GMC van head-on.
According to police, Robinson and his passenger, 30-year-old Theodoris Dancy, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Charles Walter Reck, who drove the GMC van, was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No charges have been filed as authorities continue their investigation.
