RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are warning motorists who normally travel on Hillsborough Street through its intersection with Cox Avenue to consider other routes Monday afternoon.
Repair work related to a downed utility pole at the intersection has reduced travel to one lane in each direction.
Trucks and other tall vehicles are being rerouted due to low-hanging wires.
At some point during repairs, police said it is expected that all lanes will be closed for about 15 minutes. The work should be completed by early evening.
