Angier Police Chief Resigns

ANGIER, N.C. — The Town of Angier's police chief, Anthony Poppler, has resigned.
According to Town Administrator Coley Price, the chief's resignation is not related to a town worker recently charged with embezzling town funds.
Poppler's last day is April 29.
