Streets Reopen In Downtown Raleigh After Gas Leak

RALEIGH, N.C. — Traffic in downtown Raleigh is back to normal after a gas leak shut down several streets.

PSNC officials said a contractor was working on a line Monday morning at the intersection of W. Davie and Salisbury streets when it ruptured.

Crews shut down both streets and McDowell and Martin Streets are affected as well.

Six people were evacuated as a precaution.

The streets reopened at 11:20 a.m.
