EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — An Edgecombe County man faces charges for an alleged eBay scam.
Vincent Moore, 33, is charged with conning at least a dozen people out of thousands of dollars.
Investigators say Moore posted hunting equipment on eBay.
They say his victims sent money orders, but Moore never sent the gear. Investigators tracked him down after several complaints.
They say he was using a fake name but his correct address.
Deputies say Moore's scam spans at least seven states.
