DURHAM, N.C. — A discussion about courtesy turned confrontational during a Durham school board meeting.

Regina George-Bowden walked out of Wednesday's meeting in frustration. The school board was discussing how to make public comment more courteous and respectful.

The school board has not decided if it will throw out citizens who become offensive during public comment.
