RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man is turning his body into a canvas for charity.
Jim Burris is letting his sons, Mike and Atom, tattoo his entire body -- everything but his face. They want to raise $10 million to feed hungry children and for medical research.
The family is talking to companies about sponsoring Jim's whole-body tattoo, which will be done in stages.
Burris' family says the tattoos will be like fine art, telling a story about the world and the beautiful people in it.
