FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — While many cities are still trying to get their tourism numbers back up, Fayetteville's hotel industry is growing.
Two companies are building upscale hotels. Hilton plans to open a Garden Inn in June while Marriott plans to build a Residence Inn by next summer.
Fairfield Inn just spent more than $2 million on renovations.
The Visitors Bureau credits the steady flow of military reservists for the success.
