Durham Nightclub Set To Reopen After Recent Troubles

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — A troubled Durham nightclub is set to reopen this weekend.

Earlier in January, there were two shootings within a week at MK's House of Jazz and R&B. As a result, ALE agents inspected the club and found it was operating without a proper liquor license.

The owner's attorney said the license is now reinstated and the club will reopen.

Since the shootings, Durham police have increased the number of patrols in the area.
