Johnston Man Charged In School Crossing Accident Avoids Jail Time

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Johnston County man learned his punishment for hitting two students as they tried to get on a school bus.

Vincent Stone was found guilty of reckless driving. In October, he hit Christopher and Karie Hodges near Garner.

Stone will not go to jail if he stays out of trouble for five years. He will have to pay a $200 fine and court costs.
