Man Struck, Killed By Passenger Train Identified

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak passenger train in downtown Raleigh Tuesday night.
Investigators said the train was coming from Washington, D.C., to Raleigh when it hit 45-year-old Michael David Miller at the intersection of Blount and Hoke streets.
The train was delayed for about an hour while officers investigated.
The accident remains under investigation.
