Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville police officer said he has even more evidence that someone stole his police dog.

Officer George Blanco, Mira's handler, said two of Mira's collars were found about a mile from his home.

Blanco said someone probably removed the collars and tossed them. He is offering a reward to find Mira.

Mira is one of 11 Fayetteville police dogs.
