Lumberton Police Officer Charged With Obstruction

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Lumberton police officer is in trouble with the law.

A Cumberland County deputy charged Frank Yambo with obstruction. The deputy said he was responding to a call and Yambo would not get out of his way, so he arrested him.

It is not the first time the Yambo family has been in the news. Yambo's son is charged with first-degree murder involving a drive-by shooting.
