DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday morning at Central Carolina Bank at 1821 Hillandale Road.

Authorities said a man entered the bank around 9:50 a.m., picked up a withdrawal slip and then waited in line. The man approached a teller's window and handed the teller a note demanding money in certain denominations.

Authorities said no weapon was seen and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He had a reddish mustache, blue eyes and was bald.

Authorities said he was wearing a light-colored T-shirt with a paint company logo on it and blue jeans or light blue work pants.

The suspect ran out of the bank and got into a tan Mazda SE-5 pickup truck, which was last seen heading toward Croasdaile Drive.
