Durham Caterer Accused Of Food Poisoning Fails To Appear In Court

DURHAM, N.C. — A caterer in the middle of a baked bean controversy could be cooked.

A judge issued a warrant for Carl Privette after he failed to show up for court Monday.

Privette is accused of serving a bad batch of beans at a picnic for Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Durham.

More than 50 people came down with food poisoning after the picnic.
