Durham Shelter Cooking Again After Fire

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — People at the Durham Rescue Mission are cooking again.

A brand-new stove was donated to the shelter Tuesday. Last week, a fire destroyed the old gas stove.

After WRAL aired a story about the loss, several people from the community called to offer help.

Fran Helpingstine came through and bought the rescue mission a new commercial stove.
