New North Hills Development Hits Snag

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a glitch in plans for the new North Hills complex.

Developer John Kane planned to build two seven-story office buildings at Six Forks and Lassiter Mill roads, but the Board of Adjustments denied the request. They said the buildings would be too close to the road.

Kane said he is not sure whether he will rework the plans or simply abandon that portion of them.

Officials said everything else with the project is OK. Target is slated to open in October.
