Family Stunned By Fatal Shooting Of Woman In Her Sleep
LUMBERTON, N.C. — Robeson County authorities make two arrests in the death of a woman who was killed after a bullet came through her house while she was sleeping.

Authorities charged 21-year-old Frank Reinaldo Yambo Jr. and 23-year-old Jason Ross Bunner with first-degree murder and discharging a firearm into occupied property. Yambo is the son of Lumberton police officer Frank Yambo Sr.

Robeson County sheriff officials say the two men were riding around Tuesday when they thought a home was abandoned and unoccupied. Sheriff's officials say the men allegedly fired several shots at the home using a 9 mm rifle.

One of the shots hit Jennie Revels, who was sleeping in the house at the time.

"I told her that I love her and I didn't want her to leave," said Shaun Revels, Jennie's son.

Shaun Revels originally thought someone was trying to get even with him, but deputies say Yambo and Bunner did not know Revels.

A week before the shooting, deputies say the two men allegedly shot at another house. No one was injured in that house, but it was occupied by two ladies at the time.

Yambo and Bunner are currently in the Robeson County Jail without bond. Their first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
