CARY, N.C. — The town of Cary is adding a new park to its system.
The Town Council voted 6-1 Thursday to take over control of SAS Soccer Park from Capital Area Soccer League (CASL). The deal keeps Cary from having to build seven new soccer fields.
The $16 million facility opened two years ago. The park will be open to all Wake County residents.
