Trial Date Set In Lois Cannady Case

DURHAM, N.C. — A trial date has been set for one of the five men accused of killing an elderly Durham woman more than two years ago.

Lois Cannady, 89, was shot to death in her home as she dialed 911 for help. Five suspects, including Cannady's neighbor, are charged with killing her.

Michael Sullivan will be the first one to be tried. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 18.
