RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a woman's report that she was attacked by a man in her bedroom.
The woman lives with a roommate in a townhome complex called Falls Creek on Wadford Drive, off Capital Boulevard.
According to investigators, the woman said she was asleep early Friday when a man came into her bedroom, covered her eyes and held a sharp object to her throat.
She told police she screamed, and the man ran.
Investigators said they found no sign of forced entry. They said two knives were missing from the residence -- a butter knife and a butcher knife.
