Chuck Stone Inducted Into NABJ Hall Of Fame

RALEIGH, N.C. — University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill journalism professor Chuck Stone was recently inducted into the

National Association of Black Journalists

' Hall of Fame.

Stone is one of the group's founders as well as a former newspaper editor and columnist.

He joins famous people such as abolitionist Frederick Douglass and journalist Marcus Garvey who were inducted posthumously. It is only the second group inducted into the NABJ Hall of Fame since its founding in 1990.
