DURHAM, N.C. — It was rough going for motorists who wanted to head East on Interstate 40 Sunday.
Around 6 p.m., a six-car pileup shut down the eastbound lanes at Highway 55, near the infamous Durham County construction zone.
At the heart of it all was a car that ended up underneath a pickup truck.
Amazingly, no one in any of the cars was injured. People got out of their cars and waited for police to clear the accident.
