CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Board of Trustees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has approved corporate advertising at university sports arenas.
UNC athletic director Dick Baddour said he is projecting a $600,000 shortfall, so the school is looking at ways of making money.
Right now, the Dean Smith Center and Kenan Stadium are ad-free. Other Triangle arenas already have ads.
