Five Injured In 4-Car Accident In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Five people were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Tuesday afternoon following a four-vehicle pile-up in Fayetteville.

The accident occurred on Highway 301 South just past the Middle Road exit before the Cape Fear River Bridge.

According to police, a driver was going too fast and caused a crash with three cars and a dump truck. That driver was thrown from his car and landed under the truck. He is listed in critical condition.
