Former SPCA Worker Charged With Embezzlement

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police charged a former SPCA worker with embezzling more than $3,000 from the organization.

According to the arrest warrant, Stacy Suttle took money between December and May.

Police said she took the money from an account used to reimburse people for spaying and neutering adopted animals.

Suttle has a court date set for Aug. 4.
