DURHAM, N.C. — Water was flowing in Durham Tuesday as the fire department helped fill the canal at the American Tobacco campus.
The canal, that will run through the center of the American Tobacco campus, features waterfalls, bridges and stepping stones. It will take about six days to fill.
Owners paid the city for the services. Capitol Broadcasting Co., which owns WRAL, is developing the project.
