RAEFORD, N.C. — The mother of a young girl at the center of an international search faces charges of her own.

She is the mother of Dana Pevia, who was returned to her family last year after she was kidnapped and taken to Mexico.

Hector Frausto, Dana Pevia's accused abductor, is still in jail.

Wanda Pevia has been placed on a $250,000 bond.
