Camp Lejeune Hopes For POW's Safe Return
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — The Camp Lejeune Marine held hostage in Iraq reportedly is in Lebanon.

The family of Cpl. Wassef Hassoun said he called Wednesday, telling them he was O.K. and in good health.

There is no confirmation from the United States Embassy in Beirut, the Pentagon or the State Department.

Hassoun has family in Lebabon and Utah. The 24-year-old was trained as a truck driver but worked as an Arabic translator.
