DURHAM, N.C. — Hazmat crews say a suspicious substance found at a Duke University postal facility Tuesday morning is not dangerous.
A worker delivering campus mail to a building on Hillsborough Road noticed a tan, powdery substance in the bottom of the mail bin. The building was shut down immediately.
About two dozen people work at the facility. So far, no one has complained about any health problems.
Emergency crews are working to identify the substance.
