Man Rescued From Bladen County Grain Silo

CLARKTON, N.C. — Emergency crews have rescued a man who became trapped in a grain silo along Highway 211 in Bladen County, south of Clarkton, Monday morning.

The worker, who officials say is Hispanic, got stuck around 9:30 a.m. Authorities say four men were getting the grain ready for the market, when one of them got stuck.

He was reportedly armpit-deep in grain. He was rescued alive around 1:30 p.m.
