RALEIGH, N.C. — The man charged with killing a young mother and dumping her body along I-40 faces new charges.
Derrick Canaday is now accused of breaking into Merritt Ennis' home and stealing jewelry and other goods.
Police say Canaday beat Ennis and dumped her on I-40 in Sampson County, where she was hit by a vehicle.
