RALEIGH, N.C. — Most parents will keep their children at two Wake County schools that did not meet the
No Child Left Behind
standard.
Lynn Road and Hodge Road Elementary Schools failed to meet the federal standard two years in a row. The standard is tied to federal funding, so the schools must now offer students a transfer. Only 67 of the more than 1,200 students requested a move.
Wake County will release preliminary end-of-grade test results at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
