RALEIGH, N.C. — A release date finally has been set for another player in the Meg Scott Phipps campaign scandal.

Bobby McLamb is scheduled to get out of a West Virginia federal prison April 30, 2005.

Last March, McLamb was sentenced to 16 months in prison. He pleaded guilty to extortion and campaign-finance fraud in the scandal that sent four people, including former Agriculture Commissioner Phipps, to federal prison.
