HOKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Hoke County commission will meet to decide what to do about its crowded jail.
They will discuss a recommendation Monday to expand the jail from 71 beds to 250.
If approved, the expansion will cost about $7.9 million and be completed by 2007.
The plan does not call for a tax increase.
