SBI Wraps Up Investigation Into Robeson Shooting

Posted Updated

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — The State Bureau of Investigation has wrapped up its investigation into who shot a man in Robeson County. Now, it is up to prosecutors to determine if charges will be filed.

Agent Donovan Deaver and an IRS agent went to Jessica Jacobs' home in February.

Jacobs said the men did not identify themselves, so she called her boyfriend, Sammy Bailey. She said Bailey came with a gun.

After a scuffle, Deaver allegedly shot Bailey.

Officials will not say why the agents were at Jacobs' house in the first place.
