Mebane Girl Dies From Gunshot Wound Allegedly Inflicted By Father

ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. — A 10-year-old girl who police say was shot by her own father died Friday morning.
Investigators say Rufus Bishop shot 10-year old Myiesha on Monday and then tried to burn down his house with her inside.
Bishop is in jail. Charges likely will be upgraded.
