Vendor Wants Raleigh To Regulate Business

RALEIGH, N.C. — Hot dogs and ice cream do not always mix, especially at City Hall.
Street vendor Neal Buchanan asked Raleigh leaders Tuesday to regulate his business. He said vendors work hard to build clientele, but without assigned spots, another vendor can simply move in.
Buchanan said spats over busy areas even lead to fistfights.
Raleigh police and a public safety committee will take up the vendor issue.
