JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — An elected official from Johnston County faces drunken driving charges.
Raleigh police arrested Craig Olive just before 4 a.m. on May 2. They say Olive's blood alcohol content was 0.09. The legal limit in North Carolina is 0.08.
Olive is the Register of Deeds for Johnston County. The Republican was elected in 2002 to a four-year term.
His court date is set for June 24.
