Man Holds Up Postal Clerk With Glue Gun

Posted Updated

GREENVILLE, N.C. — A Pitt County man is behind bars, charged with using a glue gun to rob a post office.

Investigators said 44-year-old Jeffrey Taylor held up a postal clerk Wednesday to get some grocery money. He got away with just $100.

Taylor is accused of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Because the alleged crime involved the U.S. mail, he also could face federal prosecution.
