RALEIGH, N.C. — City leaders are looking for compromise over a controversial sign for the RBC Center.
The city said the proposed sign would violate Raleigh's sign ordinance.
A panel asked the RBC Center Tuesday to submit a new drawing sign, taking into account suggestions from the appearance committee. They also want a count of how many trees would have to be torn down where the sign would be located near Wade Avenue.
Officials could get a new look at the sign in two weeks.
