<b>LUMBERTON, N.C.</b> — Two more Lumberton police officers are under investigation.

James Atkinson and Larry Williamson are suspended until next week. Their names came up in connection with Lt. Leon Oxendine.

Oxendine is charged with tampering with a witness, lying to FBI agents and lying to a federal grand jury.

During his bond hearing, a federal magistrate ordered Oxendine not to contact Atkinson, Williamson, former officer James Jordan or police informant Scott LaClaire.
