<b>LENOIR COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Federal, state and local law enforcement agents have dismantled a major drug trafficking ring in Lenoir County.

Seventeen people face federal charges in connection with Operation Eagleclaw. Agents organized the effort two years ago to stop the drug dealers plaguing the area.

Most of the defendents live in Kinston or in surrounding Lenoir County. They face various drug and firearms offenses.
